Ibanez TOD10 Tim Henson Signature Electric Guitar

Polyphia’s Tim Henson has wowed audiences with his idiosyncratic style of technical shredding since the band’s earliest independently released EPs dropped in the early 2010s. Fittingly, the Ibanez TOD10 Tim Henson Signature is a high-performance solidbody electric guitar with custom tweaks and appointments tailor-made for fleet-fingered fretboard gymnastics. The TOD10 is built around an American basswood body, which exhibits a warm, growling acoustic tone with hyper-defined mids. A set of Tim’s signature multi-voice Fishman Fluence humbuckers yield a plethora of tones from squeaky cleans to high-octane grind. The TOD10’s roasted maple neck boasts Ibanez’s comfortable AZ Oval “C” shape, and its 24-fret, 12-inch-radius ebony fingerboard was designed to accommodate the most demanding of hand maneuvers. You also get a Gotoh T1502 tremolo for bending, twisting, and diving with spot-on intonation. The TOD10 Tim Henson Signature is rounded out with a Graph Tech nut, Gotoh locking tuners, illuminated side markers, and an eye-grabbing “Tree of Death” fingerboard inlay.

Brand

Ibanez

Ibanez is one of the first Japanese musical instrument companies to gain a significant foothold in import guitar sales in the United States and Europe, as well as the first brand of guitars to mass-produce the seven-string guitar and eight-string guitar. The company has an impressive lineup of products ranging from instruments to pedals and accessories, and have recently raised standards and eyebrows with the new AZ Series, which Josh Smith described as the best superstrat he’s played in a long time.
