Korg has introduced and advanced several parts of electronic music technology and keyboard design in almost half a century of continual innovation. Korg soon grew into a full-fledged electronic organ firm until the mid-'70s, when they embraced the fledgling synthesiser market. Many industry-standard innovations trace its origins to Korg, from key transposition functions and inbuilt effects to sample + synthesis sound design.
