Pearl’s value-based Modern Utility Snare drum line has been expanded to include two new Steel shell models. Shimmering, open, and untamed, each Modern Utility Steel snare features a 1mm beaded Steel shell, rolled to ring with open punch at full force, and speak with crisp sensitivity at lower impact. Blasted with a satin textured coating to give a cool, versatile vibe, the 14” models come in both 5.5” and 6.5” depths and feature Pearl’s CL arch lugs and smooth SR700 snare strainer for precise tunability. Each model makes an exceptional primary or added snare, and brings a high-volume voice to the playing field at a totally accessible price.
