This classic single channel design sounds full of 6V6 power amp character and is based on the timeless Tweed preamp, consisting of 5x12AX7 and 1x12AT7 tubes. Vintage tone heaven.However, the California Tweed isn’t just a copy of an old amp. It has two voicing inputs; one providing larger headroom, glistening cleans and another that ranges from clean to pure overdriven valve tone. Controls are kept concise, using Gain, Treble, Mid, Bass and Presence EQ for all the control you need. Also featured is a completely tube-driven spring reverb with an external jack perfect for switching on/off in a live setting.
