  • DiMarzio DP122BK Model P Bass Pickup

Accurately reproduce the sound of your bass with added gain and punch with the DiMarzio Model P passive electric bass pickup. This hum-canceling design aims to get your tone to cut through the band without sacrificing your precious low end. As many bassists will tell you, the most important frequencies for punch and presence in a mix is a bass's mids. The Model P pickup gives you gutsy mid-range to provide growl when you really lay into it and push your bass hard. The Model P also pairs incredibly well with DiMarzio's J style pickups.     Model: DP122BK

  • DiMarzio DP123BK Model J Neck/Bridge Set Pickup

DiMarzio Model J pickups reproduce the warmth and roundness of the traditional Fender Jazz Bass sound with increased power and hum-cancellation. The additional power translates into a bigger sound that emphasizes the resonant character of the instrument. The DiMarzio Model J pickup’s sensitivity and deep tone are also the perfect complement to fretless basses. Double-stop glissandos and delicate violin-style vibrato speak with a classic, woody voice simply by backing off slightly on the tone control. For an even more varied choice of tones, pair a bridge position DiMarzio Model J with a DiMarzio Model P pickup. The warm, fat tone of the DiMarzio Model P plus the tight punch of the DiMarzio Model J open up the sound of any bass.     Model: DP123BK

  • DiMarzio DP138BK Virtual Acoustic Pickup

The DiMarzio Virtual Acoustic magnetic soundhole guitar pickup uses the same technology as the Virtual Vintage line to create a natural-sounding and noise-free acoustic guitar pickup. Sweetwater players love the compensated tone network built into the volume control for how it maintains your tone when adjusting the volume. And the DiMarzio Virtual Acoustic magnetic soundhole guitar pickup mounts easily in the soundhole of your acoustic. You can even trim the foam padding to customize the Virtual Acoustic for your acoustic guitar's soundhole.     Model: DP138BK

  • DiMarzio DP136RW Super Natural Rosewood Finish

DiMarzio doesn't only cater to electric guitar players. The Super Natural Plus magnetic acoustic guitar soundhole pickup is engineered with acoustic players in mind. Voiced specifically for dreadnought acoustics, the Super Natural Plus offers crisp treble and tight bass response. The magnetic properties and sliding volume control on the pickup also helps avoid feedback problems that often are a headache with microphone and under-saddle pickup designs. And it will compliment your acoustic guitar with it's rosewood molded plastic cover.     Model: DP136RW

  • DiMarzio DP130BK Acoustic Model

The Acoustic Model is a piezo-electric transducer that can be mounted in any location on the guitar’s top. A non-hardening putty is used to mount the pickup, allowing simple installation and removal. Every acoustic guitar has its own balance of highs, mids and lows, and it’s easy to experiment with the position of the Acoustic Model to determine the spot that achieves the best tone for your taste. It can also be semi-permanently mounted on the inside face of the guitar and connected to an acoustic endpin jack, so it’s practically invisible. The Acoustic Model works on all steel, bronze, and nylon string instruments.     Model: DP130BK

  • DiMarzio DP707BK Liquifire 7 Pickup

One thing has stayed consistent throughout John Petrucci’s long and successful career: the DiMarzio pickups in his guitars. John has been pushing the envelope of progressive metal since the late eighties, and the DiMarzio LiquiFire 7 Neck Model resulted from our most recent collaboration with John. He used it throughout Dream Theater’s tenth studio album, “Black Clouds & Silver Linings”. John swears this is the best live and studio sound he has ever had. He wanted a neck pickup with a flowing, singing solo tone when used with a heavily overdriven amp and a clear chord sound with a clean amp setting.   Model: DP707BK

  • DiMarzio DP708BK Crunch Lab 7 Pickup

One thing has stayed consistent throughout John Petrucci’s long and successful career: the DiMarzio pickups in his guitars. John has been pushing the envelope of progressive metal since the late eighties, and the new DiMarzio Crunch Lab 7 Bridge Model ensued from the most recent collaboration with John. He used it throughout Dream Theater’s tenth studio album, “Black Clouds & Silver Linings”. John swears this is the best live and studio sound he has ever had, and the name says it all — “crunch” is what it’s all about with a big, tight sound that’s neither muddy nor thin.   Model: DP708BK

  • DiMarzio DP702BK Blaze Bridge Pickup

Blaze for 7 string Neck this is the model originally designed for the neck position of the Ibanez Universe. The neck position needs to be warm, but not too fat (nobody wants the low "B" sounding like a tuba, right?), so DiMarzio scooped out some of the mids to brighten up the low notes and kept the power down to a reasonable level to avoid unnecessary sludge. MiddleSeven-string guitars are hard to amplify. Most players tune the seventh string to a low B (or even A), and it's a real trick to get a big, solid tone from the other strings without the seventh turning to mud.     Model: DP702BK

  • DiMarzio DP173BK Twang King Bridge Pickup

The DiMarzio DP173 Twang King Telecaster Bridge Pickup is amazing. When DiMarzio set out to design a pickup that delivers stunning vintage Tele sound, they knew they had to go beyond merely copying a 40-year-old design. Sporting controlled-tension coil winding, special wire, and hand-calibrated magnets, from ppp to fff, the Twang King serves up pick-attack response like you've never experienced in a single-coil. Of course, the Twang King is wax-potted twice for squeal-free performance. If you're a Tele twanger, get the bridge pickup that nails it: DiMarzio's DP173 Twang King.

  • DiMarzio DP172C Twang King Neck Pickup

When DiMarzio decided to go for the vintage Tele sound, DiMarzio knew had to do more than just copy a forty-year-old design. DiMarzio wanted pickups that captured the best elements of the favorite Broadcaster and Telecaster sounds – and then some. The Twang King pickups have unequalled response to pick attack: light playing produces a soft, quiet tone and hard picking creates a harder, louder, and more dynamic sound than any comparable single-coil. DiMarzio accomplished this with a combination of controlled-tension coil-winding, special wire, and hand-calibrated magnets. The neck pickup comes with a chrome cover, and the bridge model has a ferrous base plate. Both pickups are wax-potted twice for squeal-free performance.

  • DiMarzio DP384BK Chopper Pickup

The DiMarzio DP384 Special Chopper Tele Bridge Pickup is the louder, punchier brother of the Fast Track T. More power is concentrated in the mids and low end for a bigger sound with more crunch. It shares the same side-by-side coils and twin-blade construction as the Fast Track T, so there are no string alignment or magnet-pull problems. And of course, there's no noise. Not exactly the traditional Tele bridge sound, the Chopper T has less twang and more chunk. This makes for a solid blues sound. 250K controls (the usual value on most Teles) will produce a warm sound without much high-end bite: 500K controls will open the top end up more and brighten up the low strings as well.

        Model: DP384BK

  • DiMarzio DP417C Area T Neck Pickup

A vintage Tele cover with no sacrifice in sound quality or power. DiMarzio believes the Area '58 and Area '61 are a major step forward in the performance of hum cancelling Strat replacement pickups. The technology that went into the DP417 models has allowed them to make a similar advance with Telecaster guitar pickups. The Area T neck model has the combination of clarity and warmth that Telecaster players have always sought.

  • DiMarzio DP175W True Velvet Neck Pickup

The DiMarzio True Velvet single-coil electric guitar neck pickup is all about nailing that vintage single-coil tone while avoiding the ice-pick high frequencies that can accompany them. Engineered to be emphasize the "sweet spot" where the highs are bell-like, the True Velvet uses a special magnet stagger to avoid that harsh tone you can get above the 12th fret on the higher strings. And Sweetwater guitarists love how it covers any musical genre. Get that vintage single-coil tone without the nail-in-the-ear highs with the DiMarzio True Velvet neck pickup.     Model: DP175W

  • DiMarzio DP218BK Super Distortion S Pickup

The DiMarzio DP218 Super Distortion S Strat Humbucker Pickup offers the performance of the famous Super Distortion in a humbucking Strat bridge direct replacement-size pickup. It's built with the same blend of power and tone that made the original Super Distortion the worldwide standard for high-output humbuckers. DiMarzio also tweaked the sound to take into account the fact that the Super Distortion S will be installed in the classic slanted bridge position. The new model has 4-conductor wiring for parallel humbucking and split-coil modes, and makes a great bridge position combination with the Pro Track, The Chopper, and Fast Track 1.     Model: DP218BK
    RM360.00
  • DiMarzio DP111W SDS-1 Guitar Pickup

It might look like a Strat guitar pickup, but the SDS-1 adds balls, gain and warmth reminiscent of the best old soapbar pickups. Recommended for bridge position. The adjustable pole pieces don't pull as hard as regular rod magnets, so you can get the pickup closer to the strings for stronger output. The highs are less exaggerated and the bottom is deeper than most singles for a rounder, darker tone. If your guitar's bridge position sound is too edgy, without the push needed to drive your amp, remedy the situation with an SDS-1. Add a pair of Class of 55 pickups for sparkle, or a Class of 55 in the neck and an FS-1 in the middle for even tone choices.     Model: DP111W
    RM225.00
  • DiMarzio DP110W FS-1 Single Coil Pickup

Some players find the traditional Strat bridge pickup sound clear and sparkling, while others think it’s almost painfully bright. You know who you are, and the FS-1 is for you. It’s louder (about 25% more power) than a stock single-coil, and smoother and fatter-sounding all-round. When you combine the FS-1 in the bridge with True Velvet in the middle and neck, you’ll have a guitar with calibrated, balanced tone in all five switch positions. For a bigger, more aggressive sound by and large, you can also install FS-1 pickups in all three positions.     Model: DP110W

  • DiMarzio DP186BK The Cruiser Neck Pickup

The DiMarzio Cruiser single-coil neck electric guitar pickup is for the modern single-coil player who wants a bit more girth to their sound. But because of the Cruiser's ceramic construction it blends the openess of a single-coil with the thick lows and power of a humbucker. Sweetwater players love how its low magnet pull lets you get the pickup close to the strings for maximum output. The DiMarzio Cruiser single-coil neck electric guitar pickup is a noiseless design the will add power and low-end punch to your single-coil equipped guitar.     Model: DP186BK
    RM360.00
  • DiMarzio DP184BK The Chopper Pickup

The Chopper is the louder, punchier brother of the Fast Track 1. More power is concentrated in the mids and low end for a bigger sound with more crunch. It shares the same side-by-side coils and twin-blade construction as the Fast Track 1, so there are no misaligned poles or string-pull problems. Originally designed it as a bridge pickup to combine with The Cruiser and Fast Track 1, but it’s also a good neck pickup when you’ve got a hot humbucker in the bridge position.     Model: DP184BK

  • DiMarzio DP419W Area 67 Pickup

The DiMarzio Area '67 humbucking electric guitar pickup gives you the brightness and clarity of mid-'60s Strat pickups, without the hum. Bright without being harsh, the Area '67 lends itself very well to neck and middle position use - though it also works very well in the bridge position. This pickup's reduced string pull gives you the added benefit of a better adjustment range, so you can put it closer to the strings for stronger output without fear of compromising your guitar's sustain or intonation. If you want a great-sounding pickup voiced for the era of a certain left-handed Strat-slinger, you won't go wrong with the Area '67!     Model: DP419W
    RM360.00
  • DiMarzio DP416W Area 61 Pickup

Drawing upon the steely, yet woody-sounding tonality of several pickups from the early '60s, DiMarzio has produced a modern version of these vintage gems with no hum and less magnet pull. DiMarzio has been working on serious vintage single-coil design with no hum for eight years, with the goal of capturing the best qualities of guitar pickups from the 1950s and early '60s. The DP416 Area '61 succeeds admirably, is good in all three positions, and is a perfect bridge pickup with a pair of Area '58s if you want to go all the way from Nashville to Texas in one guitar.     Model: DP416W
    RM360.00
  • DiMarzio DP415W Area 58 Single Coil Pickup

The DiMarzio Area '58 pickup gives you that great Strat tone, while contributing significantly less magnet pull of a "stock" model. Another advantage the Area '58 has is its virtually hum-free performance. DiMarzio went to great lengths to capture the magical tonal mojo of a late '50s Strat pickup, and this model definitely delivers! Sweetwater now offers this great pickup, which works particularly well in your guitar's neck and middle positions. Whether you're making chiming pop, twangy country, or sizzling blues runs, the Area '58 is the pickup for you!     Model: DP415W

  • DiMarzio DP102BK X2N Humbucker Pickup

The DiMarzio DP102 X2N Pickup is DiMarzio's highest gain pickup, designed to push tube amps into total overdrive. Twin wide-bar pole pieces give the X2N pickup a nasty, dangerous look. Single-coil and series-parallel modes are especially effective with the DiMarzio DP102 X2N pickup. The current X2N has a universal spacing. It will work with both F and standard string spacing.     Model: DP102BK

  • DiMarzio DP155FBK Tone Zone F-Spaced Pickup

Have you ever heard a bridge pickup that made a guitar sound like a giant mosquito attack? If you’ve run into this problem, The Tone Zone is the solution. The Tone Zone is hot enough to qualify as a high-output pickup, but it has a wider dynamic range — hard picking will produce a lot of power, and softer picking will be much cleaner and quieter. It’s got tremendous bass and low-mid response to reinforce the bottom end and make the overall sound bigger. The highest single notes have depth, and chords sound huge. Patented dual-resonance coils reproduce more overtones than you’d expect from such a fat-sounding pickup. It makes a great match with an Air Norton, PAF Joe, or PAF Pro, and split-coil mode produces an excellent single-coil sound as well.     Model: DP155FBK

  • DiMarzio DP100FCR Super Distortion F-Spaced Pickup

The DiMarzio Super Distortion is one of DiMarzio's earliest pickups, and it's designed to send your tube amp straight into overdrive, courtesy of its ultra-high output! Guitarists at Sweetwater are impressed with the power and tone that this classic pickup delivers — both single notes and chords are huge, with humbucker-signature thick, boosted mids; fat highs; and killer lows. Generally a bridge-position pickup, but great in the neck with lower-gain guitar amplifiers, the DiMarzio Super Distortion was designed to make the most out of solidbody guitars. Need it fat? • DiMarzio DP100CR Super Distortion Humbucker Pickup

This pickup started a sound revolution. Replacement pickups simply didn’t exist before the invention of the Super Distortion in the early Seventies. The Super Distortion (and its original 3-conductor version, the Dual Sound) was the first pickup specifically designed to kick a tube amp into total overdrive, and is still the standard by which all other high-output pickups are measured. The Super Distortion has a perfect blend of power and tone: both single-notes and chords jump out of the amp and fill the room (or the track) with a wall of sound. The balance of tones is classic — thick, boosted mids, big lows and fat highs. This is the sound you’ve heard for over three decades on platinum records, from players as varied as Ace Frehley, Al Di Meola, and Paul Gilbert. It’s also versatile: 4-conductor wiring allows instant access to Strat-like split and series-parallel modes. Discover what thousands of great players know: the Super Distortion is the best all ’round high-power pickup ever made.     Model: DP100CR

  • DiMarzio DP151BK PAF Pro Pickup

The classic PAF humbucker sound with an extra portion of mids and trebles: present to you the PAF Pro. For guitarists who don't want a high-gain screamer, but would like their classic sound to be a little hotter and more powerful. A particularly popular combination: a PAF on the neck and a PAF Pro on the bridge. That way, the volume balance between neck and bridge pickups is preserved. A quick reminder: since the strings vibrate more vigorously closer to the middle of the string, the neck pickup (with the same configuration) is always a little louder.     Model: DP151BK
    RM360.00
  • DiMarzio DP151FBK PAF Pro F-Spaced Pickup

The PAF Pro was created when chops-intensive playing was first starting to happen, and high-gain amps and rack systems were becoming popular. A pickup was needed that combined a lot of presence and “cut” with an open-sounding PAF vibe. The transparency of its sound lets the PAF Pro slice through heavy processing, where darker-sounding pickups get lost in the mud of the effects chain. Low notes have both snap and chunk, and there is a spike in the mid-range that gives the pickup a subtle “aw” vowel sound, like a wah-wah pedal stopped in the middle. Treble response is tweaked to produce highs that stand out without getting brittle. The PAF Pro makes an outstanding neck pickup in almost any guitar, and it’s an exceptional bridge pickup when high output isn’t required.     Model: DP151FBK

DP260 PAF Master Humbucker Neck Pickup Cream. One variation that's highly sought after by vintage PAF players is a pickup that is quiet, bright, and very dynamic. The PAF Master Neck Model is truly special. It has a great balance of full, richness with a throaty tone but its not too fat and notes still come through nice and clear, with beautiful smooth and creamy highs. DiMarzio gave it just the right amount of windings to allow the pickup to sing, sustain and still be articulate. Recommended for neck. Can also be used in bridge position. Tech Talk DiMarzio has done the research and seen all the mythology around pickups made with NOS wire, unoriented magnets, butyrate bobbins, vintage alloys, unbalanced coils, et al. They prefer to focus on results rather than on replicas. The PAF Master Neck Model uses several of the patented ideas to create a pickup that pays tribute to the original sound without imitating it. Instead of accidentally unbalancing the coils, they tuned them to different frequencies to get the same effect without compromising hum-cancellation.     Model: DP260CR

The PAF Joe is the latest neck pickup developed for Joe Satriani. Joe wanted a neck position humbucker that combined the best qualities of the PAF Pro with those of a late 50s Gibson humbucker. Joe describes this tone as being tubular. Through the use of Virtual Vintage technology, clear-sounding low frequencies are blended with warm-sounding mids and high frequencies, which makes the PAF Joe equally good for chords and single notes. Joe first used it throughout the 2003 G3 tour.     Model: DP213FBK

  • DiMarzio DP223CR PAF 36th Anniversary Humbucker Pickup

Here are the characteristics that make a great vintage humbucker: a soft magnetic field, sweet tone, perfect balance between warmth and clarity, the ability to go from clean to distorted by pick attack alone. For the PAF 36th Anniversary Bridge wanted to continue in the path of pioneers such as Seth Lover (designer of the original Patent Applied For humbucker) and create pickups that combine all of the characteristics of great vintage humbuckers. These pickups are not merely clones. Re-engineered the PAF using the patented technology and Larry DiMarzio’s own 1959 cherry sunburst Gibson Les Paul as the reference. Larry’s Gibson Les Paul has a uniquely amazing sound and it’s not only due to the pickups — it’s the total fusion of many elements of the guitar itself. Although the pickups have a weak magnetic field, the sound is well defined — almost like a single-coil. DiMarzio duplicated the weaker magnetic field in order to allow the strings to vibrate longer, as well as focus and articulate the attack and output.     Model: DP223CR

Joe Satriani has used FRED as his main bridge pickup for years. In 2005, Joe asked us for a hotter and bigger version to replace the FRED in his new Ibanez guitars. The new model called the Mo’ Joe is all about tone and definition. Its name says it all. It has more power than FRED but it doesn’t sacrifice clarity or dynamics. Additionally, all the harmonics that made FRED so good are all there ready to jump out at the touch of a guitar pick. Having more output makes the Mo’ Joe a perfect match for the PAF Joe in the neck position. The combination delivers great versatility and control from rhythms to solos.     Model: DP216FBK
