Pearl PFM50 Maracabasa

The Maracabasa from Pearl is a combination of two Latin instruments, the maracas and the cabasa. The Maracabasa combines the function of both instruments to create a unique, handheld instrument that has versatile playing applications. The body of the maracabasa is made from ribbed fiberglass and is wrapped in shekere-style beads. You can shake them like maracas or twist and strike them like you would play a cabasa.
