Pearl’s Elite Series Birch Cajon is constructed using Birch plywood for the body and rich Walnut for the Faceplate. This traditional-sized cajon features a patented rear-facing base port that amplifies the thunderous low-end sound. Walnut produces a tone with more bottom end, and the fully glued-on faceplate has maximum contact with the cajon body. This cajon features two sets of fixed snare wires for a snappy response.
