The Blackstar Dept. 10 AMPED 1 is a 100-watt guitar amp packed into a compact, pedalboard-friendly enclosure. It’s a versatile solution that can power any cabinet, or be used as a standalone rig for recording and silent practice. A key feature is its “Response” control, which simulates the feel of five classic power amp tubes (EL84, EL34, 6V6, 6L6, and KT88), plus a linear option for transparent amplification with modelers. It also includes three “Voices” (USA, UK, Flat), onboard reverb, and Blackstar’s CabRig™ technology for advanced cabinet simulation via XLR or USB. With power reduction down to 1 watt, it’s perfect for any scenario.

Each setting delivers the response, dynamics, sag and break-up characteristics of the selected valve power amp. The Linear response offers transparent power amplification, used in combination with the Flat voice when pairing your AMPED 1 with an external amp modeller.

Effects loop (series or parallel), 2x 9V DC outputs and MIDI control for easy integration into your pedalboard or rig.
Includes CabRig, our next-generation DSP speaker simulator that reproduces the sound and feel of a mic’d up guitar cab in incredible detail. Deep-dive using the accompanying free Architect software and capture the incredible tones via USB / XLR out.
