Ibanez FRH10N-IBF FRH Series Acoustic Electric Guitar, Indigo Blue Metallic Flat

The FRH10N features a very thin FR hollow body with a shape reminiscent of the FR series or a Fender Telecaster. It is constructed of a solid Sitka spruce top with black and white binding and fan bracing on sapele sides and back. The body is mated to a C-shaped nyatoh neck with a slotted headstock and walnut fretboard with black binding and offset small white dot position markers. It has no traditional sound hole on the top (only a small port to access the truss rod) with an oval sound port on the top side near the upper horn. Components consist of a compensated bone saddle in a walnut bridge, a 46mm wide bone nut, nylon strings and gold classical-style tuners.

Electronics consist of an Ibanez T-bar under-saddle pickup paired with an Ibanez AHA-1 preamp powered by a pair of button cells and feeding a ¼” endpin output jack.

Ibanez

Ibanez is one of the first Japanese musical instrument companies to gain a significant foothold in import guitar sales in the United States and Europe, as well as the first brand of guitars to mass-produce the seven-string guitar and eight-string guitar. The company has an impressive lineup of products ranging from instruments to pedals and accessories, and have recently raised standards and eyebrows with the new AZ Series, which Josh Smith described as the best superstrat he’s played in a long time.
