In celebration of their 400^th Anniversary, Zildjian created a special edition 5A drumstick to celebrate their rich history of cymbal making. This design created for these drumsticks celebrates the entry of Zildjian cymbals into popular music. In the mid-to-late 19^th century, composers began to use cymbals in their compositions more and more often. Zildjians were the cymbals of choice for composers like Wagner and Berlioz. Inspired by a Turkish tapestry from this era, this design features the silhouettes of orchestral percussionists.
